Competency & Objective Statements
DDA is an introductory level course focusing on the tools used by digital artists in a wide variety of creative careers including graphic design, film and game design. Students work with digital 2D and 3D graphics as well as audio/video using the Adobe CC Suite and 3ds Max to build their skill sets for later classes.

DPS Board Policy 4106 on Exam Exemptions
DDA students may currently be exempt from their final exam.
High school students may be exempt from non-EOC/VoCATS final exams if they meet one of the following conditions:
Students who are exempt from an exam may elect to take the exam. The grade will only count if it improves the student's overall grade.
Unit 1: Understand Digital Design Production (18 days)
Days spent on individual units are estimates
This course is currently in pilot status and may qualify for exam exemption under DPS board policy 4106. More information on this will be given once it is known for certain.
